The  Brazilian Pannel for the Future of the Ocean - "Painel Brasileiro para o Futuro do Oceano" (PainelMar) has the mission to act as a collaborative and multisetorial platform of individuals and organisations in the interface of knowledge and decision making, aiming to qualify policy for the sustainable use and health of the oceans (PainelMar, October 2015).

Through this, the participant members structure the ‘Horizonte Oceânico Brasileiro’ (HOB) that aims to create and promote, between 2019 and 2022 (4 years total), a collaborative network of professionals to work in the interface of knowledge and strategic public policies focused on the Brazilian Marine and Coastal Zone and specifically on the Sustainable Development Goals number 14 (SDG 14) - Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.

In September 2019, infinito Mare joined the PainelMar with the compromise to contribute to the construction of a promissor scenario to the Brazilian environmental reality.

In the PainelMar network, infinito Mare is working with the research team focused on Policy and International Governance, which was formed with the objetive of comprehending the Brazilian position regarding the oceans in the national and international arena.
